Covid-19 - Clipper Contracting Group Business Continuity

As the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is felt here in the UK, we wanted to advise you that Clipper Contracting Group are taking measures to ensure that the UK's temporary workforce can continue to be paid each week. It is vital to us that workers and their families are paid as usual

We had already provisioned in the last few years, a comprehensive IT structure that allows remote working and we are working on ensuring each member of staff has the ability to do this without technical failures. However, in light of this unprecedented outbreak, here are the key points:

- Our office currently remains open. We are trialing working from home in a controlled manner in the coming days to ensure that the business can continue to operate through a possible lockdown. We are working with our employees to ensure they are safe and have everything in place to work efficiently.

- Our systems are cloud based, backed up over 5 UK data centres and are accessed by virtual desktop (VDI) which allows seamless rempote working.

- We have a VOIP phone system that has a softphone app - we can still answer our landlines remotely.

- Importantly, payroll functions can operate remotely

Whilst we anticipate some disruption to service in the coming weeks, we are very much open and continuing with our operations. But if things are a little slower than you would typically expect, please bear with us through these difficult times.

We wish all our recruitment partners and the temporary workforce the best of luck in the next few weeks. Please follow all government guidance and keep yourselves safe and healthy.
